There are people on Robson betwen Burrard and Thurlow giving free hugs. Some rather cute.
Scripting a migration of posts from simplelog to tumblr, that is also generating rewrite rules to redirect old URLs.

If I ever meet the developers of IE I shall give them a stern talking to, then get their contact details and send a strongly world letter.
If I ever meet the developers of Eclipse I shall be forced to give them a stern talking to.
About to attack an OmniFocus task that says “Make pretty”. Referring to a website. Not me. Obviously.
A server is repeatedly emailing me to tell me memory use is high and then dropping again, but not quite high enough to auto restart apache.
Giving GitHub money so I can have private repos. Also because I love them. And fsck running my own git, er, server? whatever you’d call it.
Trying out TweetDeck on my Server install. Have tried living just on the website, but… how do people live with that

I’m starting to think Adobe are actually trying to make their software suck. (Contribute on Mac manages to produce SBODs like CRAZY TOWN)
{ msg = “Hi Patrick, how are you?”; reply = “testing JustUpdate 1.2”;
}
Slightly amused to discover Leopard Server has front row.
Things that go around my head while trying to get to sleep #1: how best to write a conflict resolver for my EPG/DVR.

Having uninstalled Illustrator CS4 and installed it again, it now works. For now. I have no confidence in it staying in this state.
Not impressed by the fact that Illustrator CS4 just refuses to launch demanding to be re-installed. FFS Adobe.
Oh Adobe. Seriously. The CS3 icons were a trainwreck, and you hade to make the CS4 ones worse. Get your box designers to do your icons.
http://twitpic.com/1f7ci - Thank you Adobe. I thought I didn’t have enough “Adobe X” in my Applications folder. I was wrong. Clearly.
http://tinyurl.com/acm52y what a wonderful series of swear words.
8.8GB! Fsck Adobe.
Starting the CS4 installer. How do I know I’m going to regret not just staying with a working CS3 install?
Darn it, I wish I’d know about Northern Voice.
Every now and then I notice the hueyPRO doing it’s scanning thing and I think “holy crap, its alive and knows I’m here… I should run now”
A boxed copy of CS4 seems to have landed on my desk. I’m not complaining.
Just noticed from my capture, King of the Hill was 16:9 tonight. (can’t tell if it’s HD as everythings 1080i by the time I get the mpeg2 ts)
Crap. Database server out of disk. On a Saturday afternoon. Bad database server. (grumble grumble 115GB grumble grumble)
Every time I go “If only… oh well, I’ll write it myself” and find OS X has awesome frameworks to help an angel gets its wings.
http://twitpic.com/1d954 - @fictillius Here’s my little data centre.
I avoided FutureShop (by going another way) and ended up in an EB Games paying for Little Big Planet before I realised what was happening
Playing with new Postbox beta. Vertical View = good start. Need to find how to log feature requests though.
9 out of the last 23 radars have been closed (rather than “Duplicate”d). Better stats than 4 of the 17 before that.
I’m using 3.4GB of swap. I… need a laptop with 8GB of ram.
Argh, one of the fans in my MacBook Pro has decided it wants to sound like a jack-hammer. And not the good kind of jack-hammer either.
Google Custom Search for Business has quietly increased in price in the last 2 days. 5,000 pages was $100. Now it’s $250 (1000 for $100).
Lucky radar bug #50 filed! (rdar://6562515)
I wonder if the video store expects me to return this disc… shrug.
You can call me Al. I’ll ignore you, because that’s not my name, but still, feel free to call me Al.
http://twitpic.com/1cj9b - Not kidding, really inbox zero.

Dear Apple: Saying “Yeah, works in iWork ‘09, go buy that” is NOT an OK resolution to a crasher bug in Keynote ‘08. Thanks, Me.
On the other hand, two of my other bugs were fixed today, and I only logged one new one, so… kind of a win.
Hooray, install finished. Rebooting now.
Go go gadget System Reaper. Really should’ve backed up my httpd conf. And where did I keep that copy of postgres… Oh well.
Installing Mac OS X on disk “Sophie”… I hate waiting.
Waiting for a 5.93GB disk image to write to a partition on a USB disk for… no reason.
Displeased with downloads from ADC tonight. They be sucking.
