it seems, however, that Rmagick doesn’t like being asked to slice the 16k x 8k pixel image…. “negative allocation size (or too big)”
Adobe Photoshop Could not complete your request because the parser module cannot parse the file. That’s not very helpful of it then is it?
Notes: Photoshop handles 16384x8192 pixel images way better than Fireworks. Also, vector images tend to fall down when you zoom that far.
